NIGEL WADE
Having studied for a BA in History of Art and Architecture, Nigel became fascinated by the Pre-Raphaelites and the English landscape tradition. This influenced his painting style in creating highly realistic and detailed landscapes and seascapes, often including architectural subjects.

Nigel’s preferred medium is watercolour but he uses this in a fairly unconventional way, indeed people often mistake his paintings for works in acrylic or oil. Sometimes applied delicately, sometimes boldly, his watercolours invariably portray an interesting light and intense colours.
